Woman Dies After Injuries in Home Fire

A woman who was found unconscious in her burning kitchen succumbed to her smoke and fire injures late Monday, officials said.
Mary Kite, 66, died about 10:40 p.m. at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center in Laguna Hills, Orange County coroner’s officials said.
Kite was revived by firefighters who found her on the kitchen floor of her condo in the 400 block of Calle Cadiz on Friday afternoon.
The fire, which caused $80,000 in damage, was being investigated.
