Memorial Services Planned for Former Police Chief Reddin

A memorial service for former Los Angeles Police Chief Tom Reddin is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at the Police Academy, 1880 N. Academy Drive. He will be buried at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, 6000 Santa Monica Blvd.
The family has asked that memorial contributions be sent to one of the following: the Los Angeles Police Historical Society, 6045 York Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90042; Parkinson’s disease research in care of Dr. Mark Lew at the USC Health Sciences Campus, 1520 San Pablo St., Los Angeles, CA 90033; or the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, 900 Exposition Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90007.
