Friday Is Deadline for Paying Property Tax Bill

Homeowners have until Friday to pay the first installment of their property tax bills. A 10% penalty is added to payments made after the deadline.
Property owners have several ways to meet the deadline: They can pay with a credit card at the county treasurer’s website, www.oc.ca.gov/treas/; pay at the treasurer’s office at 12 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana; or pay by mail, as long as envelopes are postmarked by Friday.
