* D’Andre Denan, Long Beach Jordan: Scored 18 points to lead the Panthers to a 61-50 nonleague victory over No. 5 Santa Margarita.

* Mike Danielian, Van Nuys Grant: Scored 50 points in an 84-66 loss to Thousand Oaks in a pool-play game at the Thousand Oaks tournament, tying a 6-year-old school record set by Gilbert Arenas.

* Jose Perez, Huntington Park: Scored 18 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter to help the Spartans rally from a 12-point deficit with four minutes remaining and defeat Eagle Rock, 62-56, in a nonleague game.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

* Kristal Douglas, Reseda Cleveland: Had 33 points, 15 rebounds and four blocked shots in a 65-59 nonleague victory over Bell.

* Rizza Magno, El Monte Arroyo: Made a seven-foot bank shot with five seconds remaining to lift the Knights to a 59-58 overtime victory over Temple City, which led by 17 points with slightly more than four minutes remaining in regulation.

BOYS’ SOCCER

* Drew Loftus, San Clemente: Had three goals and an assist to rally the Tritons from a two-goal deficit with 20 minutes remaining and defeat Laguna Hills, 5-3, in a nonleague game.
