Governor’s Arrogance

I was flabbergasted at the arrogance and insensitivity of our governor toward the nurses’ peaceful protest at the Governor’s Conference on Women and Families (Dec. 8).
We all know there is a delicate patient-to-nurse-care ratio to ensure proper professional care. That’s all they’re asking for.
He calls the nurses association “special interests” and he proudly proclaims, “I am always kicking their butts.”
Special interests indeed, and I thank God for their special interests in their patients.
