From Times Staff Reports
A lawsuit between a group of Dana Point condominium owners and the California Coastal Commission was reassigned Thursday after the judge disqualified himself from hearing the matter.
The case involves about 90 homeowners in Niguel Beach Terrace who have been accused by the commission of violating provisions of a low-income housing program.
Superior Court Judge David C. Velasquez recused himself because he was acquainted with two homeowners in the case and might not be able to be impartial. The case was transferred to Judge Ronald L. Bauer.
