Garden Grove Woman Is Killed in Crash

A 57-year-old woman died Tuesday after being trapped in her car following a collision in Garden Grove, authorities said.
Tuyet Mai Thi Tran of Garden Grove was found unconscious in her car in the 9400 block of Trask Avenue about 1:10 p.m., according to police.
After being treated by paramedics, she was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where she died a short time later, police said.
The driver of the other car involved in the accident was taken to Garden Grove Medical Center and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the accident is under investigation, the spokesman said.
