Police Investigating Man’s Shooting Death

Police on Saturday were investigating the shooting death of a man near Huntington Street and Utica Avenue.
A tipster telephoned police about the shooting at 8:40 p.m. Friday. Officers were unsure of the motive for the attack.
The man sustained at least one gunshot wound to the torso and was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he died. His identification was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
