BOYS’ BASKETBALL
* Clyde Williams, San Bernardino Arroyo Valley: Had 42 points, six steals and six assists as the Hawks defeated San Joaquin Memorial, 82-74, in overtime at the Torrey Pines tournament. Williams hit a three-point basket to send the game into overtime and scored five points in the extra period.
* Colin Robinson, Diamond Bar: Scored 20 points in the first half and finished with 32 points, 10 assists and seven steals as the Brahmas (9-2) beat Bell Gardens, 93-67, in the Nogales tournament.
* Johnny Oronoz, La Mirada: Scored his team’s last five points and had 15 of his game-high 39 points in the fourth quarter as the Matadores defeated Spring Valley Monte Vista, 72-69, in the San Diego Mt. Carmel tournament.
GIRLS’ BASKETBALL
* Neka Mixon, Long Beach Wilson: Had 36 points and 16 rebounds for the Bruins (8-2) in a 63-58 victory over Sherman Oaks Notre Dame (9-3) in the Elite Division of the Ayala tournament.
BOYS’ SOCCER
* Kyle Ochoa, Etiwanda: Had a first-half hat trick and finished with a season-high four goals for the Eagles (6-2-2) in a 6-0 victory over Simi Valley in the Upland tournament. Ochoa has seven goals in Etiwanda’s last two games.
GIRLS’ SOCCER
* Megan Joerger and Mari Pflaster, San Clemente: Joerger scored off a corner kick by McCall Zerboni and Pflaster scored with an assist from Tanya Emerson as San Clemente (8-0-2) advanced to quarterfinals of the Foothill Excalibur tournament with a 2-0 victory over Long Beach Wilson. The Tritons defeated Etiwanda, 1-0, in a first-round game.
