“Finding Nemo” was the best reviewed movie of 2003, according to RottenTomatoes.com, a film-oriented website that specializes in gathering and warehousing reviews from critics around the country.
Its year-end rankings, released this week, are based on both the quality and enthusiasm of reviews a film received. Rounding out the top five were, in order, “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King,” “Lost in Translation,” “Spellbound” and “American Splendor.”
And the worst-reviewed films? “Gigli” topped the list, followed by “Gods and Generals,” “A Man Apart,” “Alex and Emma” and “Kangaroo Jack.”
