Re “Kerry Event Sticks to Music, Message,” July 13: Conservatives have been skewering Whoopi Goldberg for using profanity and lewdness while making fun of President Bush at a political event. I find it amusing that she’s held to a higher standard of conduct than the vice president of the United States while he’s standing on the Senate floor.
