Two men were arrested late Tuesday night in connection with a two-hour armed robbery spree in Santa Ana.
Police said Javier Avalos, 24, of Santa Ana and a 15-year-old boy, whose name was not released, carjacked a 1981 Mercedes and robbed three fast-food restaurants.
Sgt. Carlos Rojas said Wednesday that the suspects stole about $500 from Kentucky Fried Chicken, Papa John’s Pizza and Donut Star.
Investigators are looking for a third suspect, who they say also participated in the armed robberies.
