Neo-Nazi Leader Is Freed From Prison

South African white extremist leader Eugene Terre Blanche was released from prison and immediately mounted a black stallion for a victory parade that was greeted with cheers and jeers.
The bearded neo-Nazi, imprisoned for beating a black man nearly to death in 1996, said he had no interest in politics and planned to farm. Terre Blanche, 60, led a small band of supporters carrying flags with his group’s swastika-like symbol through Potchefstroom, a conservative town about 60 miles west of Johannesburg.
