The judge presiding over Martha Stewart’s obstruction-of-justice case has postponed her sentencing for eight days so defense attorneys can file court papers, prosecutors said.
Stewart, who was scheduled to be sentenced July 8, will come before U.S. District Judge Miriam Cedarbaum on July 16.
Stewart faces 10 to 16 months in federal prison for obstructing a federal investigation into why she sold stock in ImClone Systems Inc. in December 2001.
