Full-Time Job, Full Pay for a GOP Colleague
- Share via
Isn’t it interesting that Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, a proponent of cuts for health and education, has appointed fellow Republican Rosario Marin to a cushy job on the California Integrated Waste Management Board? The job pays $117,000 a year, as reported in Patt Morrison’s April 26 Inside Politics column.
Besides advocating a part-time Legislature (which is a great idea because it would force career politicians to get a real job), the governator should do the same regarding government boards, such as the one Marin will join.
