American Airlines Should Treat O.C. Fairly
- Share via
So American Airlines plans to compete by eliminating two New York-bound flights from Orange County and shifting them to Los Angeles International (“Airlines’ Latest Battle: L.A. to New York Nonstop,” May 9).
And who will the passengers be on these flights? The same tens of thousands of Orange County residents who already fly out of LAX solely because it costs less to fly from there than from John Wayne Airport.
If American Airlines really wanted to generate more revenue and not depend on government handouts, it would offer competitive pricing on all its Orange County departures.
