A large-scale sweep aimed at a violent Tustin gang netted two arrests Thursday, authorities said.
The police gang unit, along with 70 officers from other agencies, served dozens of search warrants to known members and associates of the Laurel Hood Tustin gang in Orange and Riverside counties. Recent activity by the gang prompted the warrants, said Lt. Jim Peery.
Police arrested two 17-year-olds, from Santa Ana and Tustin, on suspicion of weapon and drug possession.
