5 Arrested in Costa Mesa

Five Costa Mesa residents were arrested for conspiracy to traffic in drugs after they allegedly sold methamphetamine to undercover police during a two-month investigation, officials said Thursday.
Police raided two Costa Mesa homes and found 5 ounces of methamphetamine, six guns and three illegal immigrants.
Arrested were David Salgado, 24; Raul Valencia, 24; Dulce Alvarez, 21; and Maria Vargas, 20. Jusiry Toscano, 24, was booked for an outstanding warrant. All are members of a Costa Mesa street gang, police said.
