Ex-Prosecutor Arrested in Lawyer’s Shooting

Former prosecutor William R. Joice was arrested for investigation of attempted murder after he allegedly shot and critically injured a lawyer he had been scheduled to face at a court hearing, authorities said.
Kevin Y. Jung was shot after he pulled his Lexus sedan into the parking lot outside his office, Bellevue police said. He was in critical condition at a local hospital.
Joice worked in the prosecutor’s office from 1991 to 2000 before leaving for private practice, officials said.
