Rush-Hour Culprits

The problem with lanes being blocked during rush hour (“L.A. to Speed Up Rush-Hour Tows,” Nov. 6) isn’t just parked cars. The problem is absurdly compounded by private armored cars and U.S. Postal Service trucks. If drivers have tried to go west on Wilshire in the morning, they encounter the former, and east on Wilshire in the evening they encounter the latter, but rarely a parked car. These exemptions create mass inconvenience for thousands of commuters. Isn’t there a better way?
