A former San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Explorer from Hesperia was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of molesting a 14-year-old boy he met on the Internet, authorities said.
Steve Rosales, 18, told his alleged victim he was a sheriff’s deputy and was wearing a partial sheriff’s uniform at their Oct. 30 meeting, a sheriff’s spokesman said. He was jailed on $75,000 bail at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga.
