Financial Advisor Accused of Theft

Police have arrested a Marin County financial advisor on suspicion of embezzling an estimated $7 million from clients.
Wayne Joseph Breider, 40, was booked into Marin County Jail on Wednesday after sheriff’s investigators arrested him at home. Authorities allege that between 2001 and 2003 Breider funneled money clients gave him to invest in businesses into his own accounts.
