Driver Dies After Truck Strays Onto Median

An 18-year-old man was killed early Friday when he lost control of his pickup as he approached Chapman Avenue on the Foothill-Eastern toll road, authorities said.
Anthony Winters of Corona allowed his truck to travel onto a dirt median for unknown reasons, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Winters, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected onto the median and died about 5:50 a.m.
