Council Votes to Put Agency Meetings on TV

City Council members voted unanimously Tuesday to begin televising the meetings of the city’s harbor, airport, water and power, and police commissions, as well as of the Community Redevelopment Agency.
Councilmen Jack Weiss and Antonio Villaraigosa, who pushed for the measure, said it would increase the visibility and public accountability of the agencies.
