The parking brake of an idling truck that rolled into a restaurant, killing one person and injuring seven, had apparently not been applied, Memphis police said.
Driver Verble Billings, 33, parked the 18-wheeler with its engine running while he walked over to Rally’s Hamburgers to place an order, police said.
Billings was among the injured.
