Trial Is Set to Begin in Banker’s Killing

Jury selection will begin Tuesday in eastern Long Island to determine if Daniel Pelosi, an electrician who oversaw the installation of a mansion’s security system, fatally bludgeoned Manhattan investment banker Theodore Ammon nearly three years ago.
Pelosi, 41, was charged this year with second-degree murder. If convicted, he could face 25 years to life in prison. He is being held without bail.
Ammon’s widow married Pelosi months after Ammon’s death, but the couple later split up. She died of cancer last summer.
