Jury Acquits Priest of 3 Charges of Abusing Girl

A Catholic priest accused of sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl a decade ago was found not guilty Friday on three charges that he engaged in lewd and lascivious acts with the child, a court official said.
The jury deadlocked on 18 other charges against Jose Superiaso and a mistrial was declared, a court clerk said.
It was not clear whether prosecutors would seek a retrial.
