Police arrested two men Sunday after searching their home, where officers said they found 45 pounds of marijuana, 1 1/2 pounds of methamphetamine, $5,700 in cash and a 9-millimeter pistol.
Officers conducted the search after a routine traffic stop of a vehicle with no license plate led them to believe that drugs would be found at the home of the vehicle’s occupants, police said.
Police obtained a search warrant for the house, in the 11000 block of Pipeline Avenue in an unincorporated area just east of Pomona.
Laurian Valencia, 20, and Alejandro Valencia, 21, were being held on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale and possession of a controlled substance. Bail for each was set at $250,000.
