‘Smallville’ stunt double injured

A 35-year-old stunt coordinator on the “Smallville” television show was in serious condition at a Vancouver hospital after falling at least 25 feet while filming a stunt for the show in Canada, officials said Wednesday.
Christopher Sayour suffered multiple fractures and internal injuries in the accident Tuesday morning, his family said in a statement.
“Smallville” stars actor Tom Welling, 28, in a version of the Superman story. Welling plays farm boy Clark Kent. Sayour has been the stunt double for Welling since the show’s debut in 2001.
