Bolton Sends the Wrong Message

Re “Senate Again Blocks Bolton,” June 21: The question is not why the Senate is blocking the vote on John Bolton; the question is why President Bush will not turn over all requested documents pertaining to his work record. I can only assume that Bush knows Bolton is not the best person to represent us in the United Nations but intends to push him through anyway.
Under Bush, our nation has become the most despised and distrusted in the world; sending an arrogant, undiplomatic and hostile person to represent our country underscores the message Bush is sending to the world.
