When Mom’s at the helm, all goes well

Thanks to Mary McNamara, my favorite Los Angeles Times columnist, for “Cross-Country Without Her Copilot” [Kids on Board, May 1]. Panic does not seem to exist in her travels, and I always am reminded to cherish the blessings encountered rather than focus on what didn’t go just so. Danny and Fiona are lucky to have such a mom.
