From Times Wire Reports
Police in Northern Ireland charged a 23-year-old man in connection with a $47-million bank robbery and arrested two more suspects. Authorities have blamed the Northern Bank robbery in Belfast in December on the Irish Republican Army, which has denied any link.
Police said the man was charged with false imprisonment. Officials have said the thieves gained entry to the bank vault by holding the families of two bank employees hostage.
The suspects’ names have not been released.
