Walt Disney Co., the second-largest U.S. media company, said it would begin expensing employee stock options beginning in its fiscal fourth quarter.
The after-tax stock option expense for the fourth quarter will be about 2 cents a share and the full-year cost will be about 8 cents a share, Burbank-based Disney said in a filing Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
