Worries About Supply of Fuel, Then and Now
- Share via
My, how time flies. It seems just a while ago, during the 1970s and the first gasoline lines, that we were afraid we were running out of oil. Remember those billboard ads that featured a fuel gauge with the needle on empty? It looks like now we really are running out of gas, with supplies so scarce that it costs $50 to fill up your car and Delta canceling flights to save on fuel. Thirty years seem to have passed very quickly.
