Airport Trespasser Faces Seven Criminal Charges

The Riverside County District Attorney filed seven criminal counts Thursday against Michael Broderick, the man who drove his pickup onto two runways at Palm Springs International Airport on Sunday.
Broderick remains hospitalized at the Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs after police officers shot him.
He is charged with two counts of criminal threats, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon on a peace officer, two counts of battery on a peace officer and one count of evading arrest.
