Hollywood headlines: Week in review
Leonardo DiCaprio isn’t jumping on the marriage bandwagon any time soon, though “The Great Gatsby’s” titular star concedes that it isn’t totally out of the question. The Hollywood bachelor turns 39 in September and is pretty optimistic about his 40s being “right around the corner.” So what of settling down, getting married or starting a family? “I take it as it comes,” the actor told Extra. “We’ll see what happens in the future. We’ll see what happens. ... I don’t try to determine what the future will be. I take it day by day.”

Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth reportedly owned up to their errors Thursday, pleading no contest (her) and guilty (him) to physical obstruction of another and DUI, respectively. In doing so, they tied a bow on the mess that arose from their April 19 arrests in Atlanta. We’re talking about the arrests that involved the Oscar winner playing the celebrity card, asking the trooper, “Do you know my name?” and telling him, “You’re about to find out who I am.... You are going to be on national news.” News of the pleas came Thursday afternoon via TMZ, which noted that Toth -- who was present in court -- will do no jail time, owe 40 hours of community service and go through an alcohol-education program, in addition to being on probation for a year. Witherspoon, who wasn’t there and was originally arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct, will pay a $213 fine.

Jason Aldean has filed for divorce, kicking last week’s news of separation from his wife up a notch. “This is a really tough time for my entire family,” the country singer told Us Weekly in a statement about the divorce, noting that he and Jessica Ussery had been together since they were teenagers -- he’s 36 now -- and had had ups and downs along the way. They would have been married 12 years in August. “I’ve learned that everyone always rushes to judgement when they hear news like this,” he told the mag. “That’s really hard because no one knows anything about our relationship but us. I understand that because of my job, I have to go through a lot of this in the public eye, but for my girls’ sake I really wish people would give us some level of privacy and at the very least be respectful of them.”

Catherine Zeta-Jones has gone back into treatment for her bipolar II disorder, her rep confirmed Monday. “Catherine has proactively checked into a healthcare facility,” the actress’ rep told the Ministry of Gossip in a statement. “Previously Catherine has said that she is committed to periodic care in order to manage her health in an optimum manner.” But no need to panic. There was no inciting incident, just a break in the Oscar-winner’s schedule that will allow doctors to check in on her medications, a source told People. “This has always been part of the plan,” a friend told the mag. “She would manage her health. She is vigilant about it.” Zeta-Jones, 43, checked in Monday and is expected to stay 30 days at the live-in facility, said TMZ, which first reported the news.

Bob Saget, Candace Cameron Bure and Jodie Sweetin had a mini-”Full House” Tanner family reunion at a research benefit Tuesday. The “TGIF” fixtures attended the Cool Comedy - Hot Cuisine event to benefit scleroderma research at the Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire. Saget, who hosted the event, is a Scleroderma Research Foundation member. The actor-comedian lost his sister to the autoimmune disease, which literally means “hard skin” and affects internal organs. Cameron Bure, 37, and Sweetin, 31, played two of Saget’s three sitcom daughters, DJ and Stephanie Tanner, respectively, in their early years. The well-polished stars arrived at the event fashionably late and were among the last stars to walk the red carpet. (In the words of their younger TV sister Michelle Tanner: You’re in big trouble, mister!)
