Ben Folds Five at the Wiltern

Ben Folds Five amicably split in 2000, leaving Ben Folds to go it alone for a successful decade-plus of solo work. Now the famously mis-numbered trio has reunited for “The Sound of the Life of the Mind,” and while they may not have a pop breakout like “Brick” again, their combo of indie fuzz and creative piano pop still has plenty of stories to tell.
