Vanguard bows, 78-67

Point Loma Nazarene’s men’s basketball team rallied with a solid

second half to post a 78-67 Golden State Athletic Conference victory

over host Vanguard University Tuesday night.

Vanguard shot 60% from the field in the first half to claim a

36-35 edge, with Conrad Adamczak the focal point with 13 points.

The tables turned in the second half as Point Loma sizzled from

the field (66.7%), hitting six of seven from beyond the arc.

Adamczak ended with a season-high 22 points on 9 of 11 from the

field and picked up a team-high six rebounds, while James Hartman

chipped in with 19 points. Josh Pierson had five assists and added 12

points, all on 4 for 9 shooting from three-point range. Leon

Rosborough had 11 points.

Vanguard drops to 6-20, 2-12 in the GSAC. Point Loma Nazarene is

17-8, 9-5.
