Ueberroth to hold forum in Costa Mesa
Peter Ueberroth, a candidate for governor, will be holding a
public forum this morning in Costa Mesa.
The forum will focus on the status of employment in the state. One
of Ueberroth’s main campaign themes is that the state needs more
jobs.
The meeting will be broadcast live on his Web site,
https://www.peterforgovernor.com. It will run from noon to 12:45 p.m.
at the Costa Mesa Hilton, 3050 Bristol St. Doors open at 11:30 a.m.
It comes at the end of a week in which Ueberroth was one of five
recall candidates in the campaign’s first televised debate.
Ueberroth, a Laguna Beach resident, has his campaign headquarters
in Costa Mesa. He’s best known as the organizer of the 1984 Los
Angeles Olympics and as baseball commissioner.
