Children’s books will go on sale Thursday through July 30 at the
Friends of the Laguna Beach Library Bookstore.
“The sale comes in time to thwart those universal summer
complaints of nothing to do,” said Martha Lydick, president of the
library group.
Proceeds from the sale of all books in the store benefit the
library, which has been hit hard by the state financial crisis.
The store is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Saturday,
with extended afternoon hours until 6 p.m., on Mondays and
Wednesdays.
Volunteers staff the store, at 363 Glenneyre St., under the
library. For more information, call (949) 497-7115.
