The Laguna Beach High baseball team will take on Calvary Chapel for the second game of back-to-back Orange Coast League play at 3:15 p.m. today at Orange Coast College.
This will be the Breakers fourth game against the Eagles this season, who have defeated them three times previously, and are now 5-2 in league play.
Laguna suffered losses to the Eagles with scores of 4-0 (March 18), 10-8 (April 3) and 6-2 (Tuesday), dropping them to 3-4.
The Laguna Beach boys’ volleyball team will play Costa Mesa at 5 p.m. today at Dugger Gym for the third time in Orange Coast league action.
The Breakers previously defeated the Mustangs with ease in back-to-back matches on April 4 and April 15, so Laguna coach Lance Stewartsaid he is confident they will dominate them again.
A win for Laguna in tonight’s game will guarantee a spot in the CIF playoffs.
