Rapists who taped assault released on strict parole

Two men convicted of sexually assaulting an unconscious teenage girl on their friend’s pool table in Corona del Mar and videotaping it were paroled from prison early because of good behavior, state officials said Thursday.
Kyle Nachreiner, 23, and Keith Spann, 23, were released from prison after two years Wednesday under the strictest guidelines the state offers for parolees, said Bill Sessa, spokesman for the California Department of Corrections.
The two were convicted along with Greg Haidl, son of former Orange County Assistant Sheriff Don Haidl, of raping a teenage girl in 2002 in Don Haidl’s garage. The men videotaped their assault.
Both are considered “high-control” parolees and high-risk sex offenders, Sessa said. Both have GPS devices attached to them and will have to meet with their parole officers twice a month. They are subject to random alcohol and drug testing. They are prohibited from contacting each other or the victim, Sessa said.
