COSTA MESA — Will Muñoz and Antonio Gonzalez scored a goal each for the Pirates in the Orange Empire Conference match Tuesday.
Jordan Gorman and Dean Regis provided an assist each for OCC (8-7-1, 5-3-1 in conference).
The Pirates outshot the Chargers, 20-9. OCC goalkeeper Zakre Silva recorded four saves in his shutout.
The Pirates will play host to Irvine Valley Friday at 1 p.m.

SANTA ANA — Kallie Ryker scored two goals for the Pirates in the Orange Empire Conference match Tuesday.
Alyssa Simon had three saves for OCC (11-4-1, 7-4-1 in conference).
Santa Ana dropped to 11-4-1, 7-4-1.
Vanguard 1, Biola 1
LA MIRADA — The Lions’ Amanda Couch scored in the 79th minute in the Golden State Athletic Conference match Tuesday.
Biola went up, 1-0, in the 74th minute. Goalkeeper Jillian Foss recorded four saves.
The Lions (11-1-3, 5-1-3), ranked No. 6 in the NAIA, outshot the Eagles, 17-8.
Couch scored on a corner kick, but the teams remained tied through two overtime periods. Vanguard held Biola without a shot in each overtime, while recording four shots, two in each period.

RIVERSIDE — Jamie Heenan had a team-high seven kills for the No. 10-ranked Lions in the Golden State Athletic Conference match Tuesday.
Cal Baptist (23-2, 13-2 in conference), ranked No. 2, won, 24-15, 25-18, 25-11.
Meghan Walsh had 14 assists for Vanguard.
Noelle Dyk led the Lancers with 11 kills.
