What a cheese bonanza.
Not only is today Grilled Cheese Sandwich day. But April is grilled cheese month. Celebrate by taking a spin through a photo gallery look at 12 grilled cheese-dripping sandwich recipes from the L.A. Times Test Kitchen.
Just don’t expect the usual ol’ American cheese slapped between two slices of white bread. While that childhood favorite certainly has its place, our grilled cheese collection is all grown up. (The beauty above is stuffed with Gruyère, bacon and mustard greens, for example.)
