Football: Edison nearly misses opportunity

On fourth and one at the Friars’ 11 yard-line, Edison senior quarterback Matthew Viles punched in for the first down. But two plays later, Viles fumbled the ball on the one-yard line but recovered the ball at the one-yard line as time expired in the third quarter.

Servite has a 10-0 lead, but that may soon change.
