Girls’ basketball: St. Mary’s takes lead in Division II final

Stockton St. Mary’s has taken an 11-10 lead over Rialto after the first quarter of the state Division II girls’ basketball final in Sacramento.

St. Mary’s full-court press is producing enough turnovers to enable the Rams to overcome lots of missed shots. Denae Williams scored three baskets for Rialto.
