Girls’ basketball: Windward wins state Division IV title

Jordin Canada‘s three-pointer from the top of the key with 47 seconds left broke a 47-47 tie and propelled Windward to a 51-47 victory over Albany St. Mary’s in the state Division IV championship game at Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento.
Imani Stafford had 18 points and 19 rebounds and Canada added 12 for the Wildcats (29-4), who led 30-28 at halftime.
Emily Vann and Shannon Mauldin each had 11 points for St. Mary’s (30-5).
