Chris Webber, from Detroit and headed for the University of Michigan, dunked from the right side with six seconds to play to give the West a 108-106 victory over the East in the 14th annual McDonald’s All-American high school basketball game at Springfield, Mass.
Webber had 28 points and 12 rebounds to lead the West. Cherokee Parks of Marina High in Huntington Beach scored five points.
