Senior Health and Peer Counseling, a nonprofit health-care organization, last weekend dedicated its newly renovated $2-million headquarters at 2125 Arizona Ave.
Renovation of the three-story, 9,800-square-foot building was completed in part with the help of $1 million in donations from the Mark Taper Foundation and National Medical Enterprises Inc.
“After 15 years in the community, we will for the first time have adequate space to respond to the needs of a rapidly growing older population,” said Bernice Bratter, executive director of the organization.
