Family Should Repay the County
Patty Chavez and her boyfriend can have babies out of wedlock, and then hit the news with tears--and a few days later a big smile--along with attorney Aileen Goldstein. Then we taxpayers have to hear her say she’s expecting another.
With the financial shape California is in, it would be only fair if Goldstein insisted that Chavez and her family refund every penny they have collected from the county.
Then Goldstein should spend just one day at Olive View Medical Center to understand the work these nurses and doctors do and what they have to put up with. My heart goes out to the hospital help, not Chavez and her attorney.
If Chavez’s boyfriend used condoms, as he should, this never would have happened.
Let the county put a lien on their home now, because this is not a case of hardship.
Where did you get your law degree, Miss Goldstein?
